I am.... Part 1: 50 first Crushes!!!

Anurag suggested me to write five weird things about myself... Wow now this sounds interesting. But I can't just write them... I need to explain them (to me too) to arrive at them.

So in five days I'll identify and explain 5 things and finally sixth post would be the weird summary.

So here goes the first one:

1) 50 first Dates (nah!!! Crushes)

I hate palmists... And I am saying this from the core of my heart. Some sophisticated looking spectacled experts (don't know why they are normally spectacled) choose your prized hands out of the whole body to look into and decide the fate of the whole body for the whole of your life. It still was ok if they declared some useless crap about my life but....

I am told that love/romance is not in my hands and hence not in the whole of me multiplied by whole of my life... There's only one goddamned cross at the corner of my palm which means no love and only marriage(some are confident that it would be arranged one). What disturbs me even more than their statement is their confidence in me. Devastatingly enough, that disturbs my confidence in myself. Facts follow...

(Pehla Nasha) My first crush happened when I was in primary classes. The girl was the class topper and the only romantic moments I shared with her were the english/maths/science (subject irrelevant...) questions she asked me in the class and the 5-10 slaps/stick hits on face or palm because I used to go speechless. I left school after class 5th with some slap marks on cheek and a broken heart (the stick was heavy enough to break it).

Second crush happened in school in class 7th and I was on the seventh sky again. Never got a chance to talk with the girl and she left the class in a few years.

That's exactly when I lost touch of the count and some 46 more crushes followed. Some big some small some funny, some interesting and some serious. Can't write them all.

(49th Crush: Padosan) She lives just opposite to our place. I still remember the day we moved into this place. They came out of their black santro. Uncle, Aunty and their lovely godess looking child. Without any bias, lemme tell you she looks stunning. Best of all the other crushes (umm... don't jump to conclusions... just read on) . Lala said bacchi hai... I used to say nah... she's grown enough.

My stare is another story. I look very innocent normally but when I stare at some girl I like, I am helplessly blunt. I stare straight into the eyes. They grow conscious but thats alrite for me. So it took her less than a day to figureout that I am one hopeless guy. The best and most intimate moment I had with her was the day when she came over her window and I was there at our window... And when she noticed that I am staring, she stayed back. Boy... that was one absorbing moment I can never forget.
Whenever she came outside I used to shout loudly to make sure that she hears it... "pari, lala... bahar aao... she's outside!!!" And she used to turn around with an appreciating(read blank) gesture.

And then came the climax. One fine day I saw that her brother has come back from onsite. In next few days Uncle, Aunty vanished... We thought they have gone on pilgrimage, afterall they are old enouh for such things. And in some days the biggest landslide of my life happened. Her brother... (like hell) was not her brother... They were a couple married for last 1-2 yrs.

50th date (nah.. crush) I saw her for the first time in ICICI bank. She was at cash counter. Pretty and innocent looking girl in her early twenties. I knew that I wanted to go to her only for depositing the installment of my icici prudential scheme. I went to her and that was the best moment I had with her. While I was departing, sides of her face streched and then contracted to produce one charismatic divine smile which sprinkled around the whole building (believe me, some of the sparks are still alive in my eyes). I knew that I had another crush. Next day I just wished I could go there again and guess what, I discovered I deposited the installment for a wrong policy. Least was I unhappy cause I knew i'll get chance to see her again. I wrote one more cheque for 10 thousand and walked towards ICICI office. The thoughts of serendipity n all were already doing rounds in my mind. I made a decision that I'll talk with her (contents undecided...)
She was there at the middle counter. She saw me and the first batch of charismatic smiles sprinkled out. I admitted that I made a wrong deposit and have to so it again. She replied... and smiled... I was on the 50th skies and looked around to see traces of her smiles all around the room. But wait... I saw something else too... it was a wedding ring. The even more strong and shouting confirmation was done by the mangalsutra in her neck.

I still remember the free fall I had from 50th sky till this ground. Am I courageous enough to think of 51st crush...
...
..
.

Yes I am...

Just reminded me of crushes I had: the girl who used to pass in front of my house to her college, the girl who used to come in the same train... etc..

On palmists, I believe there is some truth about probabilities, and not certainties.
