Its Me
This has been a different saturday today. For the first time in my life I went to doctor on my own. I have a strange scare and repulsions from doctors. I don't like the way they treat us as objects. I went to a dentist. I have to get some fillings done. She gave me Wednesday's appointment and all was fine. Then I went to Dr. Batra's. The same old hair loss problem. I've had this problem for long but owing to my carelessness I never consulted any doctor. And these days under the flagship of "Dreamer Shining" campaign, I am taking steps to rejuvenate myself and surroundings. So when I entered the docor's cabin, the first question she asked me was...
"Why are you so lean Neeraj"?
And I was speechless... Yes I know that I am lean, everyone tells me that. But this was the first time I was asked why am I like this and that too by a doctor who doesn't knwo me and has to do a hair treatment.
I had no answer.
"What do you take for breakfast"?
"I skip it".
"Lunch"?
"Normal food".
"Dinner"?
"Normal food"
"Did you have your lunch today"?
Yes.
She explained me how important it is for me to take regular food and proper diet to stop the hair loss. She also told me that she would suggest me a recommended daily diet
She told me the reason for hair loss. Its some stupid hormones present in the body of some male humans. These hormone keep secreting and secrete more when we are posed under stress or ailment. This secretion causes the hair to fall before they are old enough to fall. The hair thus falling doesn't get replaced by new strands and leave an empty slot.
But I still have the question coming up in my mind... Why am I so lean? And why have I been asked this. Is it that I am responsible for it...
All these question continuously remind me of one realisation... My existence.... My existence as a six feet tall body who is supposed to eat well n live well... Who is noticed by the world in the same way as he notices the world...
It feels like coming out of the cocoon in which I had locked myself some years back. It feels like unison of all the split selfs I've had in myself...
All of them....
The thinker
The remote controlled guy
The sunflower
The talkative guy
The dark shadow
etc etc.
And as it all unites, the resultant is a six feet tall bright, happy, loving and ambitious self...

Saurabh too had b4 marriage joined Dr Batra's for hair loss! He never took any medicine and yet each time he went she told him, how his hair is improving and by the time course ended, she had his old and new photograph telling him on tremendous great hair growth. He dint have the heart to tell her , he never ate all those medicines :)..
Breakfast is important, but when we live alone its difficult to have it ..coz u need to get up early to have it :) and once u are in habit of skipping..you dont like to have. Buy some fruits over weekend like apples etc and can have that in morning before going to office. Milk also is a protien provider. Its easy to buy moong daal and soak it in night and have those sprouts in morning. It wud prevent hair loss and maintain protein balance.
Waise if you use two wheeler and helmet.. then hair loss to hona hi hai :) .So use hankercheif before u put helmet preventing breakage of hair.
There wud be some simple solutions and each of us wud know but how many would like to follow is something how you discipline.
Be the best that Girls whistle at you :) Take care!!
