Mumbai's Influence

Everytime I go to mumbai, I feel a connection with that place. I can't explain it but I get a feeling that its the place where I want to be. There's everything in Mumbai, some of my best friends, my elder brother and a pace of life. Which keeps us running. The time spent in mumbai local, the time spent at Worli Sea face, its so... i mean it just dissolves me into it. It doesn't make me happy, it doesn't even let me grow sad. It just colors me in the color of mumbai.

This time when my bhaiya and I went out for lunch, I was thinking about my ISB essays on our way when bhaiya initiated the discussions about relationship. He talked about his friend and friend's girlfriend. It was the biggest discomfort I have ever had about this topic. I could feel a big knot in my throat. We talked about his friend for some time before coming on his case. He cleared himself beautifully and then asked me. I said I have lots of things to do. My MBA, my office work, Pankhudi etc. I said I don't even have time for all that. He said, all that is fine but this is one important element of life, don't forget it.

I just said, hmm...

I had nothing to think of. On our way back I was again drowned in the thoughts about my essays and a friend's bisuness idea. But one full day of talks like this opened some port in my head and I started to think about it. Is it really something I am missing? Should I really do something about it? Well, can I do something about it?

Later I met A. He came all the way to Vashi to meet me. We talked about lots of our friends and what are people doing. Looks like love is in the air. Several of our friends have fallen, drowned and shined in relationships. And he told me that whatever it be, he likes my attitude towards this. He likes the way I stay positive and cheerful.

Thanks A.

Later that night, I again opened my laptop to work on the business idea and essays.

I was back... Thankfully.

All i can say is you really cant do anything about it. Take it from me.:)). strangest, weirdest of the things happen and the best you are left with is a smile on your face as you decide to flow with the tide.
